Beta-carotene, and several other carotenoids, acts as antioxidants. Antioxidants help slowly down or prevent cell damage. By protecting cells from damage, antioxidants may reduce risk for certain cancers and heart disease.

What happens if you don't get enough vitamin A? Obviously one of the first symptoms is eyes problems such as night blindness, eye dry, itchy and inflamed eyeballs. Know about Vitamin

A vitamin is an organic compound required in tiny amounts for essential metabolic reactions in a living organism.
